Accounts Payable Specialist
Our publicly-owned, multinational client has opened their Portland office and is building out their local accounting team. They are in a rapid growth mode and are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage sub-ledger processing. This is a newly created role within the company and has potential for substantial professional growth while working in a casual and fun environment!

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
Manage and control AP sub-ledger transactions and reconciliations.
Vendor records review and analysis.
Invoice documentation review.
AP coding.
Prepare check runs.
Manage wire transfers and ACH payments.
Process check requests.
Maintain vendor records.
Respond to vendor inquiries.
Match POs to invoices.
Account research and analysis.
Resolve AP discrepancies.
Vendor statement reconciliations and review.
Assist with month- and quarter-end closing.
Ad hoc projects and analysis as requested.

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications
3+ years of accounts payable experience.
Knowledge of GAAP.
Strong ERP systems knowledge; multi-system experience preferred.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
10-key by touch.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic.
