Accounts Payable Lead
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to join their team. This is a newly created position due to growth with a company that has great benefits and a positive team-oriented environment. Accounts Payable Lead Responsibilities
Oversee team members and all accounts payable functions.
Mentor and train AP team members.
Prepare AP batch check runs, process wire transfers and ACH transactions, and checks.
Process AP invoices ensuring appropriate coding with standard procedures and policies.
Prepare accrual of open invoices, accrual reports, and batch reconciliation and reports.
Resolve vendor account status issues and communicate resolutions to the appropriate parties.
Evaluate and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
Accounts Payable Lead Qualifications
3+ years supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience processing high volume accounts payable with high accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
Strong attention to detail and analysis skills.
