Accounting Specialist
A large international company with North American headquarters in Portland has an immediate need for an Accounting Specialist to assist with financial transactions. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a large finance organization.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist
Prepare and process financial transactions.
Financial statements and reporting prep.
Assist with the continuous development and implementation of policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Maintain accounting and financial records, both physical and electronic.
Account reconciliations.
Other duties as assigned.

Accounting Specialist Qualifications
Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience required.
2 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of GAAP and SAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
