Our Portland-based client is looking for an Accounting Manager to manage the accounting functions and team in a casual and flexible office environment. With locations across the largest cities in the U.S., products are showcased with quality and elegance behind every design.
This position is temporarily working hybrid remote/onsite.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
Manage and direct the accounting team.
Responsible for the month-end close process.
Review balance sheet accountant reconciliations.
Oversee AP, AR, costing, and cash duties.
Monitor inventory levels to sure accuracy of physical counts.
Make recommendations to costing procedures aligning with organizational initiatives.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field.
5+ years of accounting experience, with knowledge of cost and/or inventory accounting.
Previous supervisory experience.
ERP systems experience required; Dynamics or Oracle a plus.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
