Our Portland client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. This organization works to enrich the lives of local neighborhoods and communities.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
Oversee AP and AR functions.
Support GL, journal entries, month-end transactions, and financial statements.
Ensure close processes are completed accurately and on time.
Assist with budgeting and audit-related requests.
Support the CFO with ad-hoc requests and special projects.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field; CPA a plus.
5 years of progressive accounting experience; nonprofit experience highly preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
Familiar with ERP systems; Abila preferred.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus.
