Our Vancouver client is growing and looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This organization has been recognized as a top place to work in the PNW for multiple years. This is a highly cross-functional role working alongside Senior Accounting and Finance leaders to ensure the organization's accounting is completed accurately while continually improving the accounting processes and controls.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
Supervise and coach the accounting team.
Manage the month-end processes.
Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist with researching discrepancies.
Ensure SOX compliance and lead audits.
Document processes and policies and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with Finance members related to reporting, ad-hoc requests, and projects.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory/leadership experience.
Public accounting experience highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to complete multiple projects within deadlines.
