Our eastside client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This role provides the opportunity for a driven individual to step up to the next level growing their management experience and showcasing their solid accounting skills. Accounting Manager Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor team members.
Oversee month-end closing; cost accounting & analysis.
Ensure tax compliance and cash applications.
Maintain internal controls and required documentation in support of internal control audits.
Provide support with annual audits and tax requests.
Maintain accurate files and thorough documentation aligned to company policy and accounting practices.
Support additional projects as needed.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
2+ years in Big4 Public Accounting Firm is required
4 years of accounting or audit experience; knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial chart of accounts.
2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
ERP systems experience; NetSuite experience a plus.
Proficient in MS Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
