Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a talented, driven, and well-rounded Accounting Manager to support the rapid growth they are experiencing. This is a highly visible and critical role for the company and will be playing a key part in the success of the division. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
Financial reporting.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Lead month-end closing functions.
Manage revenue recognition.
Process commissions.
Expense management.
AP/AR processing.
Develop, mentor, and train accounting staff.
Ensure tax compliance and filling.
Primary point of contact for external audit and tax entities.
Accounting research, guidance, and memo writing.
Support the continuous development and implementation of accounting policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Ad hoc financial analysis as assigned.
Other special projects and duties as needed.

Experience Requirements for Accounting Manager
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
6+ years of hands-on accounting experience; mix of industry and public experience preferred.
Revenue recognition experience in a software company environment.
Experience managing or leading a team.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of GAAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
