Accounting Manager
Our client has an immediate need for a temporary Accounting Manager to join a high performing team of 7. This organization has been growing significantly in the past decade due to advances in technology and product line. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Account Reconciliations and GL management.
Process complex journal entries and review standard journal entries.
Revenue recognition function.
Point of contact on reporting function.
Oversee company accounting controls, policy and procedure.
Manage AR and AP processes and teams.
Recruit, train, develop, and mentor accounting team.
Fixed assets, capital expenditures and budgeting.
Oversee travel and expense administration.
Monthly credits audit.
Monitor banking activity.
Oversee tax entries.
Relay corporate accounting policy and procedures information to team.
Provide backup to CFO.

Accounting Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5-10 years of accounting or finance experience, with 6 years in a supervisory capacity; experience with a global company preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
ERP systems knowledge.
Experience with state and local tax compliance is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
