Our non-profit client is in need of an Accounting Assistant to assist with processing for their Portland team. This organization has been recognized and awarded for its longstanding local community programs and projects.
This position will be temporarily working partially onsite and remote.
Code and batch invoices and prepare AP batches.
Post invoices for payment and process checks and vouchers.
Perform filing, maintain W9s, vendor statements, and 1099s.
Maintain office supplies and back up to the receptionist as needed.
Assist with accounting projects as needed.
Accounting Assistant Specialist Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting.
2 years of general accounting and AP experience.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
ERP systems knowledge and strong data entry skills.
MS Office experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Exceptional communication skills.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
