Our international industrial client is in need of an Accountant with a lot of energy for their onsite Portland office. This is a great growth opportunity to be a part of a large organization in a unique industry.
Responsibilities of the Accountant
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close duties.
Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records.
Process vendor invoices and prepare invoices for approval.
Set up ACH, vouchers, and payments.
Follow up on discrepancies and accounting inquiries.
Support payroll functions.
Additional accounting and administrative support as needed.
2 years of full process accounts payable and GL accounting experience; experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
Proficient in using SAP or similar ERP system and MS Office Excel required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
