Our Portland financial services client is looking for an Accountant to join their dynamic and fast paced team. This is a great opportunity to work for a national industry leader in a A+ downtown Portland office space.
Responsibilities of the Accountant
General ledger processing.
Financial analysis and reporting.
Maintain financial records and general ledger.
Profit and loss statements.
Assist with tax returns.
Support treasury functions.
Process wire transfers and cash orders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
3-5 years of Accounting experience in a mid to large sized firm; finance industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting.
MS Office Suite experience, with advance skills in Excel and knowledge of pivot tables and vlookups.
ERP systems knowledge; Oracle preferred.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
