Physical Therapist – Orthopedics
Our client is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, one-on-one care to patients with a range of musculoskeletal needs. This role focuses on individualized 45-minute sessions that support each patient’s functional goals while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
This role is fully onsite in Medford, Oregon.
Physical Therapist – Orthopedics Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions that support functional improvement and long-term independence.
- Adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, clinical findings, and age-specific needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other care providers to coordinate patient care and enhance clinical outcomes.
- Offer patient education on injury prevention, home exercises, and overall wellness.
- Participate in professional consultations as needed to support specialized patient needs.
- Adhere to ethical, regulatory, and safety guidelines while supporting a respectful and inclusive care environment.
Physical Therapist – Orthopedics Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist License, or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- One to two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, preferably with orthopedic patients.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Willingness to travel between care locations as needed.
- Specialized training or experience in orthopedic therapy is a plus and may be required depending on department needs.
- Must meet applicable background check requirements based on work location.
Salary: $91K-$142K/year. (DOE)
