Senior Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Manager who combines strong financial acumen with exceptional systems savvy and cross-functional communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, tech-forward environments, easily shifting between process optimization, hands-on system configuration, and day-to-day general ledger support. They bring curiosity, initiative, and a solutions-driven mindset to a rapidly evolving S/4Hana landscape.

This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located on the West Coast.

Senior Accounting Manager Responsibilities

• Serve as an SAP S/4Hana superuser, supporting post-implementation stabilization, optimization, and system enhancements.
• Lead general ledger processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and strengthen internal controls.
• Translate business needs into functional system requirements and collaborate with technical teams to implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot S/4Hana issues, guide end-users, and provide ongoing training and documentation.

Senior Accounting Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on SAP S/4Hana experience, including both implementation and daily user support.
• Background in general ledger accounting, financial operations, and month-end close.
• Proven ability to pivot between system configuration, process setup, and accounting support in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the broader technology industry or similar high-growth, complex organizational structures.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners.

Compensation: $65-$75/hr. (DOE)
