Kathy VanderHouwen: () Kathy is VHA’s CEO and Business Manager. She brings over 25 years of Business Management experience. Prior to VHA, Kathy held management positions at Boeing and founded and ran her own successful business where she managed a team providing large publications consulting, graphic design and desktop publishing services to both private and public sectors.
Eric VanderHouwen: () VHA’s President, Eric, has been in the technology staffing industry since 1989. Currently he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of VHA. He also has extensive background in Technical Recruiting and Account Management.
Brad Fisch: () Brad has been in the staffing industry since 1997. He is currently a Board Member for the SAO, NW Support Professionals, and on the Advisory Board for the Evergreen School District. Brad's background includes recruiting, staff management and account development. Brad is an Account Manager with VHA.
Cynthia VanderHouwen: () Cynthia has been with VHA since 1989 and has been involved in the technology industry in Portland since 1992. She has expertise as a Senior Technical Recruiter and Account Manager. Cynthia currently manages several key accounts and recruits for senior level positions.
Geoff Smith: () Geoff has been in the staffing industry since 1994. His background includes recruiting, staff management and account development. He has served major clients in the Portland and Seattle markets. Geoff is an Account Manager with VHA.
John Niemer: () A long-time veteran of the services industry, John has been in the technical staffing business since 1989. He has performed as recruiter, salesperson and branch manager while serving and supporting client companies of all sizes throughout Washington and Oregon. He brings his extensive experience to clients seeking staffing solutions for their unique needs. John is an Account Manager for VHA.
Travis Dougan: () Travis Dougan has been creating mutually beneficial client relationships in the Seattle area since 1992. He is focused, strategic, and a true business collaborator engaging big-name clients such as: Microsoft Corporation, Key Bank, Expedia, and United HealthCare. His strategic business partnership approach offers premium service to clients to devise optimal staffing solutions to meet workforce needs. Travis is the Branch Manager/Account Manager for VHA's Seattle branch.
Tom Parrish: () Tom has been working in the information technology staffing industry since 1989 holding leadership positions in business development, account management and recruiting. He has served a broad base of customers throughout the state of Washington, including major accounts in financial services, specialty retail, internet infrastructure, utilities, telecom, software, healthcare, professional services and non-profit foundations. Tom is an Account Manager with VHA's Seattle branch.
Cherice Withers: () Cherice has been in the technology staffing industry since 1993. She has experience in contract and permanent staffing and corporate recruiting with an emphasis in the technology and high-tech arenas. Prior to her position at VHA, Cherice was a Recruiter for Computer People, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Microsoft, and Intel, and also managed the recruiting team at Hollywood Entertainment. Cherice is a Senior Technical Recruiter and leads the recruiting team at VHA.
Brian Hathaway: () Brian first started recruiting in 1990 for the United States Navy and its Officer Recruiting Programs. After a 9-year Naval career, he spent 5 years in the professional services industry. He has been a Senior Technical Recruiter with VHA since 2003.
Glen Zucker: () Glen has been recruiting in the technology staffing industry since 1996. He has 6 years of recruiting experience and has focused within technology staffing for the majority of this time. Glen has prior experience working for a software development company, which focused on education and entertainment software. Glen is a Senior Recruiter for VHA.
Brett Kadz: () Brett has been a staffing and human resources professional since 1998, starting with Robert Half International, Inc. His background includes work as a Technical Recruiter, Staffing Specialist and Account Manager for companies in the Portland Metro area and the Washington DC Metro area. Brett is a Senior Technical Recruiter for VHA.
Tony Whittum: () Tony has been an agency and corporate recruiter in Portland since 2000 in a variety of disciplines and industries including: Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Technical and Light Industrial. In addition to recruiting he has helped manage company on-site staffing programs for Intel, SEH America and Nordstrom for Kelly Services and Volt Technical Services Group. Tony is a Senior Technical Recruiter for VHA.
Heather Carrion: () Heather is the newest addition to the VHA Recruiting Team. Originally from Boise, ID, Heather relocated to Portland in 1999 to attend college and complete her Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Linguistics. She joined the VHA team in 2005 and performed successfully as a Recruiting Assistant to achieve her new position as a Recruiter in 2008.
Shirl Hollingsworth: () Shirl has been recruiting for 20 years in consulting services and possesses a vast knowledge of the industry. Early in her career she was a Software Engineer and was promoted to Project Manager/Consultant to develop evaluation criteria for choosing software for large-scale projects. She moved into selling project management software, services, and consulting to Fortune 500 companies including defense contractors, government agencies and nuclear utility sites. Shirl made her way into the recruiting and consulting field and now applies her wealth of experience to successfully source top-level IT professionals. Shirl is a Sr. Technical Recruiter for VHA's Seattle branch.
