VanderHouwen & Associates, Inc., familiarly known to our clients and consultants as VHA, was established in Portland, Oregon, in 1987 by Kirby and Kathy VanderHouwen.

VanderHouwen & Associates , Inc. is a Woman-Owned Business and WBENC certified.Our founders were influential in both the staffing industry and technology sector, and played an integral role in their evolution in the Pacific Northwest. Kirby’s unwavering drive to add value to clients, build success for technology professionals, and contribute to the prosperity of our community still guides us today.

While Kirby's vision continues to influence us, VHA's President,
Eric VanderHouwen, has led our team in the same manner since 1997. In 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008 VHA was ranked in the Oregon Business Journal's list of Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Today, that trend continues with the addition of our Seattle Branch, as does the commitment set by our President and team.
